RETRENCHMENT BENEFIT 

MISA believes it is the core responsibility of a trade union to preserve jobs.

 

The Covid-19 pandemic had a devastating impact on the retail motor industry with the retrenchment almost 2 000 MISA members.

 

Martlé Keyter, Chief Executive Officer: Operations, says the MISA Retrenchment Benefit of R3 000 is paid to MISA members on the Gold and Silver options subject to a total of 26 weeks’ consecutive contributions.

 

Applications must be made within 13 weeks after the date of retrenchment.
